Welcome Australia & New Zealand new leadership team

For the past three years clients’ in Australia and New Zealand have been amazingly supportive. Companies there are moving quickly to embrace supplier relationship management (SRM) and we are pleased to be able to introduce our new leadership team based in Sydney and Melbourne who are ready to support businesses to move quickly towards getting more value from strategic supplier relationships.

Chris Gottardo

Chris has joined State of Flux as executive consultant and head of New Zealand and Australia, based in Sydney.  He is responsible for leading the execution of State of Flux’s long term business strategy in Australia and New Zealand. Chris will oversee and manage client relationships as well as delivery of consulting, training and Statess SRM implementations. 

He brings 25 years of business and client experience from the financial services sector. He’s held senior client-facing roles within corporate and investment banks in both Australia and the United Kingdom. His expertise is originating, developing and building business to add value to c-suite clients and key stakeholders. He’s totally focused on client business needs and bringing the best solutions and team together to address these.

Previous experience includes working for Lloyds Banking Group, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Société Générale Corporate and Investment Bank, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Threadneedle Asset Management and ANZ Fund Management.

Kate Nicholl

Kate has joined State of Flux as senior manager in Australia and has 15 years of experience working directly for large blue chip organisations in consulting procurement and supply chain. She brings a broad range of experience and skills including procurement strategy development and execution; communication and stakeholder engagement strategy; category management/strategic sourcing; emerging market sourcing; and local procurement programs.

Her first exposure to the procurement and supply chain function was as a buyer in the automotive industry with Ford Motor Company, before moving on to the Global Supply function at Rio Tinto. Her consulting experience within Accenture and KPMG spanned a diverse range of procurement related projects within private and public sector clients.

Kate holds a masters of international trade from the University of Melbourne. Her passion is in helping clients to build sustainable buying solutions through effective supplier relationship management, end-to-end supply chain mapping, and supplier risk management.

Tony Shortt

Tony has joined State of Flux in Australia as non-executive director. He has 25 years of business experience and leadership in roles such as franchisor developer, corporate trainer, company director and general manager with responsibility for strategic planning, sales & marketing, finance, operations and HR in companies operating in the Australian & New Zealand telecommunications industry and training industry.

Tony’s previous experiences include working for Brightpoint, Vodafone, Crestcom and his skills span start-up operations through to multi-national corporate operations, entrepreneurial cultures and corporate cultures.
