Software Quality Assurance Engineer - ATHENS

We are growing our team and looking for a passionate Quality Assurance Engineer to join our QA team and help us deliver world-leading functionality on our award-winning software. You will be responsible for designing and implementing manual testing on our enterprise web application and shipping high-quality and reliable solutions to our users.

What will you do?

• Join our agile scrum team consisting of product manager, scrum master, user experience designer, quality assurance engineers, and software engineers.
• Study and analyse product specifications.
• Plan and execute all software development life-cycle testing tasks for new product development as well as for support/ bug-fix releases.
• Develop, document and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases.
• Conduct manual testing on our web application.
• Help drive the transition to automated testing.
• Utilise various types of testing (e.g. functional, regression, performance, black-box, white-box, and browser) to ensure product performance, integrity and functional quality.
• Conduct pre and post release testing.
• Report of testing progress and outputs, monitor issue resolution.
• Work with our project management systems (e.g. Visual Studio Online) ensuring they are kept up to date to assist the team with overall delivery planning.
• Contribute to the review and design of testing strategy and practices.

Required experience

• Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in projects from concept to completion.
• Familiarities with agile development methodologies to ensure delivered solutions meet the desired level of quality.
• Experience with testing tools and testing processes.
• Experience in producing and executing test strategies, test plans and test cases and manual tests.
• 1+ years of experience in software testing (manual).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferable in Computer Science, IT or other relevant fields).
