State of Flux hires Executive leaders for Financial Services, Public Sector and Technology to scale EMEA team
State of Flux is delighted to announce three strategic additions to our executive team.
Robert Hoad has joined as an Executive Consultant to lead our Financial Services practice focussing on Third Party Management and also brings significant experience in Media and Retail sectors.
Jamie Hume has joined as Executive Lead for our growing Public Sector practice and will also develop our innovation go to market offerings as more businesses seek specialist advice on developing innovation from their supply chain; and
Gary Entwistle as Executive Consultant for our Statess Platform will oversee and continue to scale all Statess customer facing requirements including the increased number of clients that require ongoing managed services as an extension to our platform offering. Gary also has significant consulting experience from time spent at PwC and most recently HSBC.

Robert Hoad – Executive Lead, Financial Services
Rob is an Executive Consultant at State of Flux with significant commercial and Procurement experience in multiple private and public sector industries, with a particular focus in Financial Services. Previously part of the Hastings Direct senior leadership team responsible for creating, implementing and managing the group Procurement and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) function. Rob has also worked at Barclays and Schroders as well as in the Media and Retail market sectors. Jamie Hume - Executive Lead, Public Sector
Jamie brings extensive experience of leading change and innovation through transforming supplier management, in complex public and private sector organisations. Previous roles include as a Consulting Director at PwC, and senior procurement roles in FTSE 100 travel firms. Jamie also spent 7 years as a Senior Civil Servant, where he latterly ran the Scottish Government Strategy Unit, leading change and improvement work public-sector wide. In his 25 year career, Jamie has lived and worked across Europe, India, and South America, and speaks Spanish, French and Italian. Gary Entwistle - Executive Consultant
Gary with a programming and consulting background has spent his 25 year career leveraging technology to achieve successful strategic outcomes within the procurement function. Most recently at HSBC and previously with PwC Consulting, Gary has led consulting teams and implemented technologies to manage SRM and major cost reduction projects, both in the UK and internationally, targeted at improving organisations’ performance and profitability.
