A break from the norm

State of Flux played host to a number of clients at the Brit Oval during the recent ICC Champions. While the clash of the two antipodean heavyweights did not rise to any great heights the atmosphere amongst the 16000 spectators made up for it.

Highlights of the day included the veritable smorgasbord of Kiwi confectionary and delights provided by State of Flux and the post match entertainment that saw some of the best rugby tackles one would expect to see at Twickenham. Due to the one-sided nature of the contest (yes the kiwis got thrashed) and the earlier than expected finish, some of the more colourful and jovial fans took it upon themselves to make a dash for the centre of the ground. The ground staff and stewards had their hands full in attempting to stop the growing numbers who felt the urge to join this sporting past-time.

The day was rounded off at the Firestation pub near Waterloo and a post match banquet at Taz, which if you have not eaten there before we suggest you give it a go. With sun-burnt faces (believe it or not) and a break from the daily grind it was decided that we must do this more often to which Managing Director, Alan Day was only to happy agree through a grin.
