Research feedback survey

Good researches should be valid, credible/reliable, useful, cost-effective, and ethical…in other words, researches should be logically correct and produce justifiable conclusions, be believable or have reasonable grounds for being believable to relevant stakeholders, be useful or designed for use, be economical in terms of the benefits produced by it, and be conducted in an ethical, legal, professional, and otherwise appropriate manner…

Making sure we have followed the above precepts is important to us. Please take a moment to provide us with some feedback to let us know how we performed. We are also continuously looking to improve. If there are any areas of improvement you would like to address, we would be very interested in hearing about them.

Research feedback

Validity
Validity refers to the success of the research in retrieving "valid" results. There are many sources of error that can reduce the validity of a research, including poor sample or source selection (and the consequent resultant bias), coding errors, misunderstanding of requirements by the researchers, misunderstanding of questions by the respondents (direct research), etc.
Please rank from 1 to 10 your perception of our understanding of your requirements (10 = best, 1= poor).
Please rank from 1 to 10 your perception of the supporting arguments for the conclusions presented (10 = best, 1= poor).
Please rank from 1 to 10 your perception of the overall validity of the research (10 = best, 1= poor).

Credibility / Reliability
Theoretical reliability refers to the extent that a measure of a concept would deliver the exact same results no matter how many times it is applied to random members of a same target group. In practical terms, it is a measure of the degree of independence and objectivity of the results, and how they reflect reality.
Please rank from 1 to 10 your perception of the objectivity of our findings (10 = best, 1= poor).
Please rank from 1 to 10 your perception of the degree of independence / lack of bias of the conclusions presented (10 = best, 1= poor).
Please rank from 1 to 10 your perception of the overall credibility of the research (10 = best, 1= poor).

Usefulness
Usefulness represents the quality of something being of practical use.
Please rank from 1 to 10 your perception of the timeliness of delivery of this research (10 = best, 1= poor).
Please rank from 1 to 10 your perception of the overall usefulness of this research (10 = best, 1= poor).

Cost-effectiveness
Ultimately, the question to be answered with regards to this topic is whether the requestor obtained value for their money. This concept can be broken down further into the extent to which the research objectives have been achieved, and if the costs of achieving the research outcomes were reduced by outsourcing it to an external research provider.
Please rank from 1 to 10 your perception of the degree of achievement of the objectives of this research (10 = best, 1= poor).
Please rank from 1 to 10 your perception of the degree of achievement of cost savings produced by outsourcing this research to State of Flux (10 = best, 1= poor).
Please rank from 1 to 10 your perception of the overall cost-effectiveness of this research (10 = best, 1= poor).

Ethics
In the case of direct research, some principles enable an ethical environment to be present. These include, but are not limited to…
• Informed and voluntary consent;
• Respect for rights of privacy and confidentiality;
• Minimisation of risk;
• Truthfulness, including limitation of deception;
• Social and cultural sensitivity;
• Research adequacy;
• Avoidance of conflict of interest.
When indirect researches are commissioned, ethics also dictate that sources of data should be cited and information obtained through appropriate means.
Please rank from 1 to 10 your perception of the overall ethical aspect of this research (10 = best, 1= poor).
